Refund and Returns Policy

This Refund and Returns Policy applies to purchases made from Equilibrium Peptide LTD through our website.

  1. Research Use Only

All products supplied by Equilibrium Peptides LTD are sold strictly for laboratory research and analytical purposes only. Our products are not intended for human consumption, medical use, veterinary use, diagnostic use, therapeutic use, cosmetic use, or any form of personal use.

By placing an order, you confirm that you understand the intended research-use-only nature of the products and that you are responsible for ensuring the lawful handling, storage, and use of any products purchased.

  1. Order Cancellations Before Dispatch

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at EquilibriumpeptideUK@outlook.com.

If your order has not yet been processed or dispatched, we may be able to cancel the order and issue a refund. Once an order has been processed, packed, dispatched, or handed to a courier, we may not be able to cancel it.

  1. Returns Eligibility

Due to the specialist nature of research compounds, we can only accept returns where the product is:

unopened;
unused;
sealed in its original packaging;
in the same condition as received;
stored correctly after delivery;
returned with all original documentation, labels, and packaging; and
approved for return by our team before being sent back.

You must contact us before returning any product. Returns sent without prior approval may be refused.

  1. Non-Returnable Items

For safety, quality control, and product integrity reasons, we cannot accept returns for:

opened or unsealed products;
products where the tamper-evident seal has been broken;
products that have been used, handled incorrectly, stored incorrectly, or altered;
temperature-sensitive or stability-sensitive items where product integrity can no longer be verified after delivery;
products returned without prior approval;
products damaged due to customer handling, storage, or misuse;
products purchased for any non-research purpose; or
products where the return request is made outside the applicable returns period.

  1. Change of Mind Returns

If you are a consumer purchasing online, you may have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods after notifying us of cancellation.

However, returned products must meet our returns eligibility requirements. For research compounds, this means the item must remain unopened, unused, sealed, and in a condition suitable for resale and quality verification.

We reserve the right to refuse a refund where returned goods have been opened, unsealed, damaged, improperly stored, contaminated, or handled in a way that affects product safety, quality, or integrity.

  1. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If you receive an incorrect item, damaged item, or believe there is a fault with your order, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at EquilibriumpeptideUK@outlook.com

with:

your order number;
clear photographs of the product and packaging;
a description of the issue; and
any courier damage evidence, if applicable.

We will review the issue and may offer a replacement, refund, or other suitable resolution where appropriate.

  1. Product Documentation

Where available, Certificates of Analysis or batch documentation may be provided with the product or upon request.

A product will not be considered faulty simply because the customer no longer requires it, expected a different result, intended to use it for an unsuitable purpose, or failed to review the product information before ordering.

  1. Return Shipping

Unless the item is confirmed to be incorrect, damaged, or faulty, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

Returned items should be sent using a tracked and insured service. We are not responsible for returned items that are lost, delayed, damaged, or mishandled in transit.

Original shipping fees may not be refundable unless required by law or where the return is due to our error.

  1. Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved or refused.

If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund.

We reserve the right to make deductions from any refund where the returned item has been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it, or where the item has lost value due to damage, opening, improper storage, or customer handling.

  1. Refused, Failed, or Uncollected Deliveries

If an order is returned to us because the customer provided an incorrect address, refused delivery, failed to collect the parcel, or was unavailable to receive it, we may deduct shipping costs, return fees, and any reasonable handling costs from any refund.

If the product cannot be resold or its integrity can no longer be verified, a refund may be refused.

  1. No Returns for Misuse or Prohibited Use

We do not accept returns or refund requests where products have been purchased, handled, or used for any purpose other than lawful laboratory research or analytical use.

This includes, but is not limited to, attempted human consumption, personal use, cosmetic use, medical use, therapeutic use, veterinary use, or any use contrary to our stated research-use-only terms.
